We, at ProMedic Methods, are offering a FREE continuing education opportunity for the twin counties and city of Galax

Any current EMS provider may attend- this is great for all levels of certification. Athletic trainers, coaches, 911 communicators, everyone is encouraged to attend that has any involvement with fall sports.

Review current best practices for care of spine injured athletes including discussing of:

• methods of transportation
• removal of gear

Discuss how EMS interfaces with school-based emergency action plans including differences in pre-deployed vs incident response asset

Review heat emergencies and best practices for exertional heat stroke
